“LE-MAX” Handgun Fundamentals and Drills

“LE-MAX” Handgun Fundamentals and Drills

Presented by multi-time National and World champion IDPA competitor, this course (which includes a full training curriculum for ongoing future use) covers the complete fundamental skills of handgun shooting, as well as training drills that can be catered to instructors’ performance demands.

This course focuses on techniques to develop -and continually improve- fundamental shooting skills and their application in dynamic scenarios.

This curriculum delivers easily-implemented methods used by national and world champion shooters to:

-Increase control of a handgun (BOTH speed and accuracy).

-Develop a conscious “cause-and-effect” feedback loop with the handgun.

-Continually improve the shooters’ skillset after the class.

-Decrease the mental bandwidth necessary to perform at a high level under stress, thereby increasing the bandwidth available to make better decisions.

The first portion of this class will review those fundamental skillsets of good handgun shooting covered in a distilled, repeatable, efficient system:

Time to first shot, recoil control, accuracy, ability to drive the gun aggressively from one target to another, “throttle control” to maintain accuracy between targets of varying distances/difficulty, efficiency of movement into and out of positions (the ingrained ability to be ready sooner), and reload proficiency.

The second part of the course will focus on incorporating dynamic shooting skills:

-Shooting and Moving: Shooting before and after aggressive movement, and how to manage shooting on the move for varying angles, speeds, and target difficulties.

*This course will include a full turn-key guide to utilizing this system, so trainers will be able to administer and track both fundamental and dynamic shooting drills at their discretion depending on the needs of their officers.

This course can be held on any standard bay at least 15x25yds

Expect shooters to go through 200-300 rounds per day
